Range: Occurs in India ,Thailand and Vietnam. Best known countries for high quality logs are Burma and Thailand.
Uses: it is used for architectural woodwork and fashion furniture .
Properties: it is made between Golden Teak and Streaked Teak. The wood has a slightly oily surface.
Machining: machining presents no problems. Very smooth surfaces can be achieved by tipped tools.
Finishing: The surface should be treated with oil for interior work and with varnishes for external applications
